This is the closest shaving electric that I have ever had. The directions said to allow your face to adjust to the shaver, but mine worked great and gentle from the first shave, I travel often and it holds enough that for short trips I don’t bring the charging cord.

ARC5 Beats Braun!!!
After my Braun 7 died a slow battery death, I decided to try the ARC5 and I am not disappointed. The shave is ultra-smooth, fast, and better than Braun at a much better price.

Great Shaver
My ARC5 gives me a nice, smooth, very close shave. So much better than the other major brand I used to use that roughed up my face and was not nearly close enough. As always, Panasonic delivers the best. Love my new shaver.

SATISFIED
So far, so good. Have had the ARC 5 for about two weeks and tried dry and wet shaving. Not as close compared to using a blade but pretty good. Perhaps it will get better with time. SATISFIED.

Electric Razor
It is fine, just wish it was a little closer shave. Probably better then most. Have in the past used a Rotary Razor.

Great Product
This is the first electric shaver I have ever used. I did a lot of research before ordering the Panasonic ARC5. I was very apprehensive and never thought that an electric shaver could give me a close shave like a regular/manual shaver. The first time I used it, I was blown away with the job it did. The user manual said that I should use foam or cream for at least 3 weeks with the shaver before I start the dry shave. My first shave was a dry shave and I could not believe how wonderful this shaver is. It gave me a close shave just like a regular shaver and at some spots on my neck it even surpassed the regular/manual shaver. One thing that I liked the most is that I did not get one single cut on my skin which happened every time with the manual shaver. It is an excellent product. Great job Panasonic!!

Fabulous, but….
Fabulous razor. Smooth results, good battery life. However it was missing the brush to clean out all the stubble in the razor from my beard. When I reported, they said rest assured we will contact someone to assist. That never happened.

Better than braun
Just purchased an arc 5 and compared to my Braun series 9 is so much closer a shave. Awesome
