Broke within a month

I purchased a ring as a Christmas gift, and within one month a diamond fell out. Unfortunately, by the time this happened, the return window had just passed, so I was unable to return or exchange it. For the price and for a piece meant to last, I expected better quality. Very disappointing experience.
