18 inch chain .02 grams weight

Bought this necklace for Christmas. I wanted an 18“ for large Tahitian Pearl heavy gold pendant. The previous rope chain was heavy but too short for my liking, although I wore it all the time. That rope started slightly sawing through the gold of the pendant. I wanted a slightly longer and smoother, more updated chain. The paperclip style might be gentler on the pendant. This is a pretty chain, but is ONLY .02 grams in weight and it's not marked in the description. Hoping it will hold up with the pendant. It was on the Christmas sale at 75% off. I would have to returned this if I'd paid full price. I'd have disappointed as it isn't worth its weight in gold. It still isn't, even at the sale price, but I know you're paying for the workmanship and overhead. Obviously, they need to mark it up, and the sale price was fair atleast. I'm not opposed to spending more on a gold necklace in person anf can verify weight. I'd only recommend this if you're buying at 75% off.

Too small

This item is cute and dainty but i returned it because if i'm gonna use this, i might as well use my gold rope chain tjats small and dainty. I prefer the larger paperclip necklace

Delicate necklace

This is a very delicate piece of jewelry. It complements another necklace and can be used standalone, but it’s not very thick. If you’re looking for something more substantial this necklace would not be for you. I’m keeping it because it’s very pretty and quite delicate. I will use it as a second chain to complement my one that I wear every day.

Worth the money.

Great price for a great chain! It works perfectly with my pendant and I can adjust the length if I’m wearing a lower cut shirt by catching the clasp in a link.
