Can’t do it.

I’m so sorry, I was so excited to use this and make it a repeat buy. Unfortunately my hair became very dry and hard once it dried after doing a wash and go. I read the ingredients to find Benzyl Alcohol, I normally read the ingredients prior to purchasing, but I trusted Pattern products to not have these drying ingredients. Even on the site it says what alcohols to avoid in shampoos and Benzyl was one of them, so I definitely don’t want that in a mousse that I’m going to leave in opposed to washing out. I still love and appreciate other Pattern products, but this one was a no for me.

Glad I Tried It

I’m really happy with how it defines my curls, even in humid weather! I’d never tried mousse before because I thought it would leave my hair crunchy. This mousse leaves my hair soft—and as always with Pattern products, the scent is nice and subtle.

Lightweight hold

Love this foam so much. It smells amazing and I love how it gives my soft curls hold without weighing them down or feeling crunchy. It works well when I use it with just some leave in conditioner, and it also works when I use gel too. I liked the first one I bought so much that I got a backup!
