Absolute Pile of Hot Garbage - Don't Make My Mista
I was dumb enough to purchase two of these machines in the last five years. Learn from my mistake. My Philips 4300 lasted about a year and a half before the 3-way solenoid valve went bad—a well-known defect that Philips still hasn't bothered to fix. Even with meticulous maintenance, it completely died at the three-year mark. When I needed a replacement, I foolishly hoped the 5400 would be better. It wasn't. This junk still dumps a disaster of coffee grounds all over its own insides, requiring a messy weekly cleanup. The cheap plastic clip that locks the brew group in place broke the very first week during a routine rinse. And this morning, the machine decided it's done working. It will grind the beans for any drink I select, then simply cancel the cycle as the brew group audibly struggles to pull a shot. Yes, the brew group is clean and lubricated. Yes, I've tried adjusting the grind size. It doesn't matter. Save your money and buy something else. This machine is full of cheap plastic that is engineered to fail. I cannot believe Philips charges a premium for a product that can't even manage its own coffee grounds. This thing isn't just expensive; it's an insult.

We bought a Phillips 5500 for home for Christmas. Loved the coffee Maker so much bought one for our showroom. We love how easy it is to use and clean. Best coffee ever!

Yes except NO SEVICE
Reasonably happy. One big problem just wanting to ask a human being about a lot of water in bypass. WHAT A DISASTER NO PHONE NUMBER ONLY CHAT RUBBISH THAT I CANT STAND THEN I HATE TO PAY FOR ADVICE. WHAT A DISGRACE TO YOUR COMPANY THAT I THOUGHT WOULD BE GOOD. DONT SELL PRODUCTS IF YOU DONT WANT TALK TO PEOPLE. ANY DISCUSSION ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT WILL GET A VERY BAD REPORT P

Amazing machine worth every penny!
I personally do not own one of these. But my best friend has one. I have had at least 40 cups if coffee from this machine. I like the espresso lungo and the americano best. Can not get over how convenient this machine is. How fast it makes a cup of coffee, and so little maintenance goes into it. I will be buying one of these tax time next year. Can't wait till it goes on sale again

Money saver
I absolutely love my Philips LatteGo 500! It makes barista-style lattes and cappuccinos at home in minutes, saving me so much money on coffee runs. It was gifted to me, and honestly it’s one of the best gifts I’ve ever received. The setup is simple, the design is sleek, and the taste is amazing. BEST ESPRESSO MACHINE IN THE WORLD
I received this for complimentary from philipslivinghome in exchange for my honest review and I can truly say that this is the most amazing espresso machine I could have ever asked for! It is fully automatic which makes it SO easy to make any drink I want! I love the LatteGo feature and that it can make cold drinks and cold foam! Could not be happier with this machine and fully recommend it!
