I’ve been wanting a picnic basket for a while. A little romantic getaway. They did the trick.

Wicker picnic basket, pretty and useful
This picnic basket is well built (weaved) and sturdy. It's larger than I need since it's really only for me. It will hold a regular size bottle of wine, if you're so inclined, but I'd rather fill it with a sandwich, fruit and cheese, one 6 oz. bottle of wine and a water thermos. This basket will fit it all plus a couple of small ice packs. The lids are made of well trimmed plywood that's pretty thick and shouldn't warp, and can be used as a table, so in essence, this basket is a twofer. The liner is pretty, but the fabric is a bit thin. It will be hand washed to keep the color and prevent wear. It will be easy to replace if needed. All I need is my picnic blanket and I'm ready to go. I'm looking forward to using it. I'm sure it will be a conversation piece.

adorable picnic basket
I love this country picnic basket. The basket is big enough to fit many items. We really love the basket its easy to carry around and the top lids are also easy to open. The wicker basket is good quality. The cloth liner inside is a nice red and black plaid. Easy to remove and wash. We use the basket when we go to the park or school games, everyone loves the picnic basket.

Solid & Durable Basket
This basket is nice and strong, very sturdy. At first glance it seemed a little Small inside but once I started packing it up, I realized it is more spacious than it seems. I’m not sure what I was expecting for the lid but it’s just 2 semi-ovals resting on top by 2 strips of leather. The wood and leather are great quality but it slides around a little and you have to hold it open to load it. A latch or something would be helpful. But at its core the basket is very simple and straightforward, no bells and whistles but well constructed and quality.

lovely picnic basket
Since becoming a homesteader I felt like the only thing missing is having a real picnic basket. This one is just the epitome of a picnic basket. I love the dual lid. They are the perfect amount of thickness. Not too thick that it would smash the food. For instance if you had bread poking out of it. Though it’s not too light that the wind will blow them. The basket is really roomy and can hold quite a lot. Since getting it I’ve used it from everything to going on a picnic to collecting eggs, and harvesting veggies with it. It’s easy to carry and made with quality wicker. The handle is strong and sturdy. I always just grab it and go. The liner is easy to remove and clean. I love everything about it. I can’t be more pleased with it.
