they work

My husband works outdoors in construction. He wears work boots and is on his feet all day. Used to wear and love Champion brand athletic crew socks, high padding, high cotton content. Unfortunately they've discontinued that sock, and it has been a search for the perfect replacement. I bought him six different brands to try and this one by polo was the winner, though not as good as what Champion used to offer. This sock has a high cotton content which is very important to keep your feet cool and dry. Also, there is a bit of cushioning in all the right places. Just bought him 12 more pairs for Christmas. Hoping this sock stays as is, and doesn't replace the cotton with cheaper polyester, which seems to be the way of the world anymore. So far so good with this crew, we buy all white (again, makes them cooler.)

Sorry, not for us.

RL socks were the ones with a band on top. I could not see it on the website. They will be returned.
