PASTA & HOME-MADE SOUP LOVERS

I had been looking in various places for any sales on either shallow soup bowls or Pasta bowls - for pasta you want a shallow 'bowl' instead of a regular plate; pasta with sauce has a way of sliding off a plate. A shallow and fairly large bowl is perfect. I've been a vegetarian for 4 years but I still love pasta & I dearly love home-made soups. The above pasta bowls with the main larger bowl for serving was beautiful and a very reasonable price. I've been cooking for many years and I've always loved beautiful dishes and an attractive, well-set dinner table that makes families feel privileged to enjoy a good meal at a beautiful table with their loved ones. In pioneer times, the favorite place in the house was always the room by the fire that served as the kitchen - the same room that most people tend to congregate today.
