Beautiful, well made placemats

Beautiful, sturdy placemats! Pimpernel Portmeirion are the best cork backed placemats. Colors are lovely and I am pleased to see the matching table runner.

Only use Pimpernel brand mats

Pimpernel placemats are the only ones I buy. I first bought them when I lived in England. They are sturdy and last forever. A good investment.

Pretty but more delicate than it should be

The pattern and look of these placemats is wonderful - just what we wanted. However, the first morning they were on the table our son spilled milk out of his cereal bowl which we didn't notice. A mug was set on top of the milk and when I picked it up later in the day, it stuck to the dried milk and tore a hole right through the top coating of the mat. So it took just one day to have a visible issue that will, in the long run, end up running the mat. In short, these are more delicate than I would have assumed which is not great for what it is.

Beautiful & Practical Placemats

Love these fresh spring floral/botanic designed Portmeiron Placemats. They’re practical since you can just wipe them after a meal, reminds me of spring! They are also a nice thickness.
