Great game for practicing measuring

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a deceptively simple game when it comes out of the package. There isn’t a lot to it, but that actually makes it better. This is a fun game for both my 4 and 7 year old. For my 4 year old, we focus on which pieces are bigger and which ones go together while my 7 year old has fun actually measuring the end results. He is learning about measuring in 2nd grade right now so this is a great game to make it fun!

Crossroads of education and fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this game is both fun and educational. The rules are simple and game time is short. Children can play at an age appropriate level, with or without a strategy. Essentially, you spin to decide which piece to add to your figure and once completed, all figures are measured and the longest wins. Initially, my children (aged 2 and 4) enjoyed the game as intended. However, it quickly became apparent that though they grasped the concept of length, it didn't capture their attention. We implemented a rule that you can spin again if you land on a duplicate, in hopes that the alteration would increase engagement to no avail. We lost the crowd. My kids seem to enjoy the process of mixing and matching pieces to create the most outlandish figures rather than the motivation to win. It's fine, but it changes the function of the product from game to toy and comes at the cost of the learning feature, the most valuable aspect, in my opinion. Overall, better in concept than in practice.

My son loves to play this game!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really fun game for young kids to play. The premise is there are a bunch of varieties of body parts and you spin a spinner to build the tallest character. It is really fun to play to try to grab the best pieces before anyone else and measure at the end who is tallest. I would recommend playing with more than 2 people as there isn't much variety in the characters if two people know which are the best pieces. Very fun.

Didn't keep our interest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Candidly, this game isn't a winner at our house...it didn't keep the interest of my four year old for any length of time, and all of the pieces are somewhat flimsy. It seemed like a good concept, fun and somewhat educational, but the concept isn't useful if she's not interested in playing it. Overall, I think we will stick to Chutes and Ladders.

Fun measuring game!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old has a lot of fun with this game. The instructions are straightforward and easy to read. We loved playing this game as a family and making so many different types of silly animals. I love how the game is never the same each time you play it. We even changed it up a bit and play it different ways, for example, how short can we go? How wide? How silly? It's a great way to use our imagination and have fun! The pieces are nice and colorful and everything has been holding up well with multiple uses. I love that my daughter is learning how to use a ruler and all of the enjoyment it brings. Overall, we are very pleased with this game and highly recommend it!

Fun game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this game recently. I gave it to my kids to play. They enjoyed playing it. It's so simple that they can play it without help which is great. They enjoy seeing all the different creatures they create. I recommend this game for those young people who enjoy games.
