Great game.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a great game to play with my husband and with family. Easy to follow directions and easy to play in general. Also talk about nostalgia, it totally took myself and my husband back!

The Most Loved Game of the 80s

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Growing up I remember this being the only game that the whole class could agree on playing when in school. When I saw it in a board game I knew I had to have it to play with my children. Now I can play The Oregon Trail with my kids, in a screen-free environment. There are a few adjustments, like no aiming and shooting bison. But the game is still a lot of fun to play with a group and see who makes it all the way through the Oregon Trail.

Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to get this when I saw it because I had to share my love of this game with my kids! I was obsessed with this computer game back in the day! This is a little involved, but still the basic premise of that old game. Kids do enjoy it too! We love game nights, and have an extensive collection of board games and I’m happy to add this to the mix! If you were a fan of the old game, this is a good way to get that nostalgic feeling. Fun!

Just like the computer game!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a very nostalgic game for me! I loved playing the computer game as a kid. Now I can share it with my son on our family board game night. My husband also enjoyed the throw back of playing this game. It really is a lot like the computer game.

Fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I played this with my kids ages 13 and 10 and had a great time. At first I was a little overwhelmed learning the rules. But we caught on fast and had a fun time. Definitely an older kids game.

Nice game for history buffs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is quite complex to set up with many pieces and cards to arrange. You need to have a decent amount of time available to play this game. It is good for history buffs and fans of the old west. Unique game with more of a history tilt than most games offer. I like this personally being a fan of history of the old west.

Fun Game...Lots of directions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got the Oregon Trail board game for our family after years of playing the video game. It's definitely not the same as the video game. It's a good thought, but we found ourselves constantly referring to the directions to know what to do next. The set up alone took a long time and the kids lost interest by the time we were ready to play. Once we played it brought back good memories of our childhood. I like it, but prefer the video version.

Cool game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I fondly remember looking forward to being able to play this game in computer lab on Fridays. In the past we have found versions of it in little hand held games, but nothing like I remembered. I was supper excited to find this and to be able to share it with my kids. It takes a little bit of time to figure out but once we got the hang of it we all had a good time playing it. This is a great game for a game night in with the family!
