Dual purpose dress

I got this dress because I was looking for a costume dress. I needed a dress that looked like a lady of substance might wear in the 1940s with a mink stole and period hat. I was pleased with the quality of the material and construction. I am happy that I will be able to wear this dress for present day functions too.

A lovely dress

The color and fabric was very nice. It is more of a special occasion dress with the ornament on. However, I did not like the ornament on the front. I was able to cut it off, and I am happy with the dress.

Will work perfectly

I was invited to a wedding and told "cocktail attire". I searched a lot for something affordable as I would probably only be wearing it once or twice. And as a plus size, it is often difficult to find clothes that fit well and look good. The length of this dress is perfect. The material is NOT flimsy, and the sort of ruched waist helps to hide imperfections.

Pretty for special occasions

The dress is very pretty and comes in nice colors. Fabric is heavy and flowey the rhinestone buckle gives it the bling. But for a short plus size women the empire waist is not good. I bought the merlot and the plum returned them both. Good quality but not good fit for me.
