Melted handles.
Handles are not for heat proof, it burned through and melted. But nonstick works.

Dangerous Product
Dangerous product. I used the cover to steam my eggs and the cover exploded! The glass went into the food and all over the stove. Its too bad, because I have always been a fan of Rachel Ray since I was little. However, the quality of this item is not worth its value. I will not be purchasing her products again.

Dangerous Product
Very dangerous to use. I used the cover to steam my eggs in the pan and it exploded! The glass went into my food and all over my stove. Be careful. Its too bad, because I have been a Rachel Ray fan since I was little, but I will not be purchasing any of her products anymore.

Handle Burnt on First Use
Used it to steam buns for the first time yesterday and one of the handles got burnt and broken. Super disappointed. Not sure if its the expected quality or I got a defect

Your experience is not common; however, past observations of known cases indicate that the cookware might be adjusting to the heat being applied to it. Similar to what you have experienced, some consumers have reported a smell coming from the cookware, but without realizing that the open flame might be making contact with the handles and causing them to burn (if using a gas stove). These reasons may or may not pertain to your unique situation, and are just possible causes and feedback received in similar cases.

I wish I'd bought this years ago!
I LOVE this steamer. It is sturdy and well made. The silicone handles are a really nice feature. I cooked some frozen broccoli in record time. It works really well and is easy to clean. And I got it at a good price!
