I used to love Roku.
I've had a Roku box for years and have loved it. I decided to be like the cool kids and upgrade and gave my old box away. Unfortunately the new Roku I bought in September was glitchy. I was sent another that also had issues. So I returned the boxes and am still waiting for my refund as we head into December.

Won't connect

You'll want to ensure that the wireless connection you are connected to is a 2.4 GHz wireless network. Double check that your Roku is within range of the router try to avoid obstructions like cabinets and walls when possible. Doesn't include 5G Wifi.
What the heck? Every other wifi device I've purchased in the last 5 years has included 5G wifi. But not this. And it's not even really advertised as such. "Std" wifi, vs "fast" wifi? Are you purposefully trying to hide that? This is a a hobbled unit right out of the box.

Super for the money
I’ve had this for about a year and other than slow buffering every once in a while it is absolutely super for our 2 bd TV set up. Once you have all of your channels programmed in its great. A real deal for the money and you own it..

my roku express keeps losing internet after a while and it can overheat alot too other then that its ok i recomend if you dont mind those 2 issues

Disappointed and angry
Yes this device is easy to install, however it will not turn tv on nor can I remove that device and start tv with older device. Never had trouble before. Returning new one. I will find someone to restore the tv. Gayle Mann
