Perfect suitcase

I'm a flight attendant and addicted to this luggage for over 20 years , This is all I purchase now, I hate the roller wheels that go sideways and prefer the " original " wheels instead.

Nice bag!

I really love my other two ebags backpacks, one of which is the Mother Lode Jr. I needed a wheeled bag of smaller dimensions to fit foreign airlines' limitations and this seemed to fit the sizing perfect. I haven't used it yet, but it seems durable and will be a great addition to the few luggage pieces I normally use.

Replacing eBags Mother Load Carry-On Wheeled Duff

I loved my previous eBags Mother Load. It fits my lifestyle spectacularly and I have learned how to pack it! When replacing my eBags Mother Load with the new Samsonite Mother Load, the compression straps have been omitted, much to my disappointment. I do like the extra side handle and am happy the mess pocket on the inside no longer contains a divider. I would put my shoes in this pocket and it was a struggle, as I have big feet. Looking forward to my next trip and giving the airlines a chance to "take good care" of my new Mother Load.

SO glad the mother lode is back!

I've used these bags for years - before Samsonite bought out the original company. This is the best suitcase to use as carry-on. I was a flight attendant for 20+ years and have been through so many bags. I was concerned that the bag was discontinued and couldn't find anything else on the market that seemed as good. The mother lode is an exceptional bag.

Rugged, roomy carry on

I’m on my second Mother Lode carry on. Between them they have traveled over 1,000,000 miles, it has held up and still looks good. It is the best bag I’ve ever owned. Very happy to see that Samsonite has reintroduced them.

Not like the 2015 Ebags

I was so excited to see the Ebag back! I ordered with great expectations and am disappointed in its performance. The zipper is defective on the exterior, and it does not help having your clothing in 2 separate compartments. Please do away with 2 sides. ONE large side is enough! The zipper inside for toiletries is also defective. I am a bit disappointed. It does rolls nicely and is not cumbersome. The huge SAMSONITE lettering is a little much, but ok!! Please bring back the original style of ebag
