Sculpey Souffle Igloo is a lightweight polymer clay designed for strong, flexible creations with a soft suede-like finish after baking. This oven-bake clay stays soft until baked and does not air dry, allowing for extended work time and easy reuse of unused clay. Once cured, Souffle is durable, self-supporting, and resistant to cracking, even in larger projects. Souffle holds fine detail exceptionally well, making it ideal for advanced techniques such as caning, mokume gane, and bargello. Its lightweight strength makes it especially popular for jewelry projects like earrings, as well as DIY home decor, mixed media, paper crafting, tags, and embellishments. Baked pieces can be cut and sewn, offering added flexibility for creative applications. Bake at 275°F (130°C) for 15 minutes per 1/4 inch thickness. Non-toxic and safe when used as directed. Store unused clay in a cool, dry place to maintain freshness.

My favorite clay

I love the texture of the souffle. It is less sticky than the premo and bakes up nicely. The colors and lovely. I wish more brick and mortar stores carried it.

Perfect for All Skill Levels

So strong!

I make sculptures, not jewelry. I used to make them with regular Sculpey, but I've recently switched to Sculpey Souffle, and I'm very happy with the results. The sculptures are stronger and less prone to cracking. I love the velvety surface that Souffle has -- it's perfect for the creature sculptures I create.

Sculpey Souffle

I purchased Sculpey Souffle in Cinnamon and Igloo. They worked so well for my project. I made gingerbread man Christmas ornaments, and they came out great. The clay was easy to work with, looked great and held up well for my project.
