Wonder if this was a return?

The delivery was quick but box was beat up and either end of box was taped up as if it was a return. This was intended as a holiday gift but I will give it early in case it needs to be returned/exchanged.

Will this item ever be delivered

Delivery is over a week late, so apparently this item doesnt exist. Its been in "shipping status" in an area less than 30 minutes away. One of the many reasons why people hate online shopping
