Fun toy for many dinosaur loving aged human!

Easy to set up! Great battery life. I used it with my nephew who plays rough and the Dino’s were well equipped to take the rumble fight! No visible small pieces that I was worried about with the toddler. Fun for many ages that enjoys dinosaurs!

Great entertainment!

The Sharper Image Toy RC Robo Raptor Rivals set is such a fun and exciting toy! The head-to-head battles are thrilling and the controls are easy to use for both kids and adults. I love the light-up spine feature that changes colors during play — it makes the action feel even more realistic. The roaring sound effects and smooth movement really bring the raptors to life. Perfect for competitive play and guaranteed hours of entertainment! 🦖🎮

Awesome!

One of the top toys of the year. I love sharper image as a brand and was thrilled to be introduced these battle dinosaurs. My 3 year old absolutely loves dinosaurs and was so excited to unwrap this bundle of joy. Hours of entertainment and durability.

Fun fun fun!

These were so fun to play with. Not something I would use regularly. They seam sturdy and durable. Good battery life so fair but haven’t used for awhile yet. Worried about broken but so far good.

Fun concept with frustrating controls

I got to test out Robo Raptor Rivals and my 3-year-old son was able to figure out the controls pretty quickly, which says a lot about how intuitive they are. The battling aspect is fun and definitely kept him entertained. That said, there are some frustrating quirks. The white raptor would randomly move whenever the black one was in motion, which makes me think the RC frequencies overlap. The movement itself is strange since pressing forward basically makes the raptor spin, so all three button sets just result in different spins. It takes a lot of trial and error to get the raptors to move in anything resembling a straight line. On top of that, once a raptor gets “hit” three times, you have to switch it off and on again to reset it, which got annoying fast. We haven’t had enough time to test out the battery life but it takes a lot of batteries to operate both the robots and the controllers. They do seem quite safe though and pretty durable since they’ve hit almost every surface in our living room so far. Overall, it’s fun, but because of the wild controls, the raptors spend more time running into furniture than battling each other. If they actually moved forward in a straight line, I think we would be able to actually battle with them. My son enjoys it, but honestly, it’s not something I’d buy on my own.

Easy to use for multiple ages

First impression of these robot dinosaurs is they are cute and good for a range of ages since they are very easy to use. The dinosaurs themselves are solid on the bottom half but feel a little more cheap on the top half in terms of the plastic used, I am wondering if they needed to be lightweight plastic though in order for them to fall over easier during fighting. They do require a significant amount of AAA and AA batteries so keep that in mind, we use rechargeable batteries but you do have to use a screw driver on the dinosaurs and the controllers every time you need to switch them. The controllers are super easy to use so even my younger nephew who played with them (he is 5) was able to push buttons and be able to fight with his older brother (12), both ages liked them. As adults we played with them as well and it was fun but a little simple for an adult since you basically just push buttons and it is simple to use with no major skill involved. The dinosaurs make cool noises when fighting and the tops of them change color to show how many hits they have taken, once they are defeated they shut off with no color and you have to restart them using the on off button. All pretty easy to understand and use which is great. I will say when controlling them I wish when they would go forward or right and left they did so more smoothly, it is like they make short side to side and forward movements but kind of makes them go randomly different directions without much specific control, doesn’t matter as much if you put them fairly closer together to start the fighting. I also wish they were able to go backwards. It is cool that they can go all the way in a circle with their upper body when fighting though. Overall fun and we and our nephews enjoyed it.

Not the best.

These are ok? I thought they were going to be able to “battle” more but they mostly just spin left and right and go forward backward. The battery life is normal for a toy like this. I would not purchase these, they aren’t that fun my kids did not care for them.

Great toys!

So excited about these!! Added batteries and the kids love playing with them. They are very easy to use and they don’t break with all the damage they give eachother.
