Needle alignment
I tried to access instructions through QR code but it didn't work. I watched multiple videos on how to use this contraption, but after several tries, I never could get the needle to line up into the hole. Even putting it on the left needle setting, which helped a bit, didn’t solve the problem. This is a brand new Singer sewing machine and brand new needle. I don’t know why it’s not working. I’m going to gather my fabric by hand from now on. I gave it three stars because I really don’t know if it works or not. It just doesn’t work on my singer sewing machine.

Once I learned now to instal I made several outfit
I made several outfits with this ruffle I did find it a change to use at first but finally discovered how to use. Sadly it broke and a small blade broke off. I have placed this on my Christmas wish list.

I had one years ago so bought this for my new 6800C machine. I found it very hard to figure out how to use it. Found YouTube videos and they helped, but I cannot get it to work consistently. Adjusting tension and downward pressure helps a bit. Seemed very stiff and would not move easily. Applied machine oil and that helped too. Altogether, much faster to just gather it myself!

Love My Ruffler
amazing that i lived so long without using a ruffler. I cannot imagine ever being without one again Super easy to use, easy to install, and wow it even straight seams and ruffles at the same time. That made it worth every penny! Thank you singer.

Ruffler attachment
I used this to make a ruffle on a baby quilt, the material I used was cotton and I doubled it, I found that if I sewed a seam across the top before I started ruffling it worked better, also I used a stiletto to help move the material through the ruffler and it was more consistent. It took a little time to get used to it but it made the job a lot easier. I would recommend this attachment.
