Returned. Not as comfy as past Reggae Slims

I bought these online and promptly returned them. I already have a similar-looking pair of Reggae Slim Skechers scandals that I like very much. But the similarity is only on the surface. Turns out, my original sandals are all stretch (no adjustable closure required), and the bands across the foot are positioned differently: i.e. placed more attractively and more conducive to comfort. The bands on the newly purchased sandals hit me in a way that caused pain across the widest part of my foot. Additionally, they are not as well-cushioned as my original sandals. Note: I bought my old ones these well over a year ago, and they STILL feel more cushiony than the new ones I had to return. To add insult to injury, I had used a $10 off, credit card incentive coupon when I purchased the new sandals; it was part of why I decided to buy them in the first place. Upon return, Macy's did NOT reinstate the coupon, so I ultimately lost out on saving $10 on whatever I might have wished to purchase instead.
