Good, if you just want one.
I bought my first SRS-XB13 a couple of years ago to listen to podcasts while washing. It's great, and works well enough for music whist doing tasks that I thought I'd invest in another to use the stereo pair function. Unfortunately, the new unit I have has a different revision of the firmware and the two will not pair. This is disappointing since that was the reason for buying a second speaker. The only reservation I have in awarding a one star is that my new speaker does work for the single speaker function. I would add that if you only want one, then I can recommend this product. Perhaps the updated model would be a better buy?

Lots of Bass in Small Form!
This little guy is portable, bass-heavy, and waterproof! What more could you want in a speaker of this size? The XB13 is not as loud as I was expecting but I found that this speaker works best in an enclosed space or a space with a couple of people like at the beach. The lows stand out the most in this speaker as it says in the name. Battery life is also amazing. I rarely have to charge the XB13. Battery life is around 16 hours. The wrist strap is convenient too as I have used it to hang the speaker on tents or trees in some gatherings I've been to. All in all, this is a solid choice for those who are looking for a portable speaker with great sound!

Affordable Sound Maker
I needed an affordable option for a Bluetooth speaker during my vacation. The Sony SRS-XB13 obliges to deliver enough sound for a room just as needed. Sony continuously exceeds my expectations, even on products I figured were too cheap to wow me. The sound is clear, crisp, and even phone calls work and sound great on the little cylindrical wondrous speaker.

Kicking Little Speaker
This little speaker kicks. I have never had a Sony product that was bad. I got this speaker for my wife to pair with her phone to listen to Braves games when we are on the road. It works great. Pairs easily and has clean sound.

can't get it to WORK
I'm totally annoyed all of this technology is nothing for the young. For people like me it would be better to just put in print directions, serial number(s), model number(s)
