Kind of ugly

It's my own fault for not paying closer attention when I ordered it online. The soldiers don't give off a festive vibe, they kind of give off a more creepy vibe. The color is a little more antiqued (think tea stain) than the other Spode dishes. It may be other people's style, its just not for me. I'm gifting it to my sister-in-law, who never returned my very favorite Christmas platter. Maybe she'll like this one or maybe it'll be payback for keeping the one I loved.
