Spode teapot set.

Absolutely beautiful!!! This is not only for tea…. coffee or hot chocolate!! I bought this as a gift for a dear friend, she loved it as well. Treat yourself!

Lovely, with one caveat

I absolutely adore William Morris' designs and love that Spode has created this line. The patterns are gorgeous--particularly the teapot, which also pours flawlessly and retains heat well. I love that it can easily go in the dishwasher, too. My only issues are that it's just a tad big, so it's definitely a teapot to use when sharing tea with someone. That's ok for me because I use it on weekends with my husband. I'll reserve my smaller teapots when it's just me. So really my only true complaint is the wide space for the lid makes it challenging for me to use my infuser baskets for loose tea. I have maybe 10 baskets of varying sizes, but they're all too small and will drop right in the pot, so I have fashioned a method where I use two chopsticks to balance my infuser basket. It looks silly and the slightest jostle threatens to toss the tea into the drink. I wish it had a custom infuser to go in it or at least a strainer to catch the tea leaves as it pours. If you use tea bags, this obviously wouldn't be a problem for you. I still like/almost love the teapot, but Spode would do well to address this in the design phase and create a bespoke basket for the tea.
