LOVE this dutch oven

The Forever Purchase - I can't get over the quality of these Staub enameled cast iron dutch ovens and how relatively non-stick and low maintenance the inner cast iron is. This and the 4qt size are perfect for me and these are going to last for the long run - probably longer than me. I didn't get this one on sale, so it was a splurge. If I'm going to pay full price and feel good about it, it had better feel like an investment and this high quality dutch oven is just that. Look forward to many years in my kitchen with these.

Beautiful and functional- all wrapped up in one!

The perfect size for two people!

I love how evenly this distributes heat and how tightly the lid fits to ensure consistent braising. I am also making bread in this and the bottom crusts don't get overdone anymore. So glad I splurged for this... and then I went and bought another Staub pot...It's a illness!

BLACK MATTE FINISH

WHEN I FIRST RECEIVED THE BLACK MATTE DUTCH OVEN, I WAS NOT SURE I WOULD LIKE THE FINISH. HOWEVER, FOR AN EVERYDAY POT, IT IS PERFECT.
