Blue color is a soft blue. Flat wide bowl is very useful for us for pasta or vegetables. Like the simple, homey design that is well made.

They didn’t look like what I saw on the website. I don't really like the look and depth of the bowls. I thought they would be wider and deeper.
Special set
I love this stoneware collection in the deep rich green. The ridged design texture is great! Not too heavy and mix well with my other dishes. They stand alone fine though. I purchased the dinner plates, pasta plates and deep bowls suitable for cereal or soup. Read the description for sizes and bowl volume. They are a nice surprise as to design and color of newer dishware. Kudos to the high standard in packing for delivery -- Excellent! I'll be looking for coordinating mugs. Thanks Stone Lain and Macys.

One of the dinner plates arrived damaged. I wanted a replacement for one plate. Macys customer service could not ship one replacement plate to me because it was part of a set. I was told to repackage the entire set of 12 pieces including the damaged plate and return it to them and then they would send an another entire set of 12. My other option was to accept a $5 adjustment for the plate. This is very poor customer service.

This dish set is both stylish and practical. The pieces are microwave safe with a durable finish, and the textured glaze with subtle color gradation gives each item a handcrafted feel. They stack beautifully and look cohesive as a set. The bowls are generously sized—great for hearty meals, though we’ve learned to watch our portions. One of the standout features is how warm-toned foods like oranges and yellows pop against the deep blue, making dishes like salads look especially vibrant. Cleanup is easy, whether by hand or in the dishwasher. The included glasses are simple but functional, rounding out the set nicely.

Super pretty dinner set, it’s a rich blue with black shading and layers. Overall it looks dark blue, but you can tell it’s two separate colors , which adds dimension and makes it look fancy. I really like the ridges on the bottoms of the bowls and plates. It’s very modern and interesting but still easy to wash. I was worried that these would be heavy, since they’re stoneware, but they are pretty light and the bottoms are not coarse. It’s a great set for every day use. The only con are the glasses. They feel cheap and are very small. The edges are very thin, but they don’t feel nice enough for wine or cocktails and they’re too small to be water glasses. The rest of the plates and bowls are great, just get the set without the cups.
