This is a solid blue cream that emulsifies into a luxurious oil type cleanser. It is quite gritty when it first comes from the jar but if you let it warm in your hands it blends very well. I have very dry skin and find this to be very nourishing.

Soft when blended on face along with pieces of something. I actually like the smoothness this product offers after washing off. I love the ingredients so good for my aging skin.

This is my pre-cleanse (I follow this with the Ceramic Slip cleanser). Just a minuscule amount is needed for a thorough cleanse. I do not know how to adequately describe the fabulous feeling of my skin - both during and post cleansing - with this but I will give a proper description a whirl: luxuriantly soft and silky. Happy to report that - although this is a “balm” it leaves behind no discernible unctuous residue. Zero residue/baby-soft skin. Score!
