They Ruined Ceramic Slip
This is the greatest skincare failure ever. ceramic slip was the perfect cleanser, left my skin feeling amazing, wonderful application. Now it burns your face and smells like Elmers glue. Please bring back the old formula. It took me years to find the perfect cleanser and then they ruined it. So upset.

SO THEY DID CHANGE THE FORMULA
This cleanser was my favourite. Like most people, I’ve had an issue with this new change. Awful smell, burns my face. I actually emailed Sunday Riley when I first realised the change in this cleanser. They confirmed that it was a batch issue and that they did not in fact change the formula. However, I bought this particular bottle back in June and there are very recent reviews as of October… so Sunday Riley, what’s the issue here? Don’t tell me the batch is still messed up months later?

Reformulated product’s new scent
They’ve reformulated it with new scents, and the new smell honestly makes me feel sick. I used it for years before — very disappointed.

Returning TOMORROW
Ordered this for the millionth time, and the product looks and smells different. I am so dissappointed, apparently many other people are too. Im going to be looking for a new cleasner. I also wont be purchasing anymore sunday riley products if they change their formula whenever they want.

It’s ok. I wouldn’t buy again. Nothing notable about it. Although her skincare is excellent!

Did Ceramic Slip, slip on the icon?
I have been using Sunday Riley products for years now, and then I transitioned to about 95% of ALL of my skincare products being Sunday Riley exclusively. I gifted 15 tubes of Ceramic Slip to both men/women since Christmas 2024. I had not been informed by anyone that I gifted Ceramic Slip to where anyone of them experienced a problem with it. Not even a slight hiccup after using it. I actually have received quite many compliments from the lucky gifted people, and many have chosen to purchase it again and again. I have one person whom whenever he comes to my house he goes into my bathroom and washes his face using my own tube of Ceramic Slip on my bathroom counter! He does have his own tube at his own home, too! Before I sent this review, I took several minutes going back and forth to smell it. I don't think that it is different from my own previous tubes. I've always loved the scent of it, and I find myself periodically just picking up the tube for a sniff. I have not been afflicted with any reactions to date. It may be because I use tretinoin cream on my face at night, and if I am having any reaction(s) to my Ceramic Slip I cannot see them. I am going to begin a scrutiny process of my face to see if there is any chance of my skin rejecting it or not.

New formula - terrible
I have been using this twice a day every day for 5 years now. I loved it so much I never even considered buying another brand… until now. I thought I just had a bad batch or something because the smell was just awful. It also lingers. I gifted it to someone because I loved it so much not realizing the new smell.. well they hated it. And now I know why. FIX IT PLEASE
