Nice & Practical

This is a lovely little jacket for every day Spring/Fall use instead of a nylon jacket. It is quite comfortable and the quality is very good.

Love the look

Just bought it so I don’t know how water resistant it is - but it is so cute! The fasteners give it a unique style. Best of all - the sleeves are a length that work for average women! I am so tired of having to fold up sleeves that are way too long. Bottom line - love it and it’s on SALE!

The coat was a little to boxy for me and the sleeves were short. I loved the toggle style but the fit was not for me.

Some beautiful aspects

Fabric is has beautiful "hand" to it. It's a very rich looking coat, but one may have to be twig-like to pull it off. Love the corduroy collar. Love the black clasps on the black version. Found the cut of the sleeves interesting. Can roll them up easily. Found the length of the coat slightly too long, together with the very oversized & deep pockets. Always happy to have pockets, but the depth of these combined with the jacket length gave a lot of heaviness to the midsection in an unflattering manner. The same coat would have been better with princess seams to give some shape . It's maybe a coat that doesn't know if it wants to be casual or formal, a duffle or a haute couture item. I'm 5'6", 175lbs with a 42b chest. I sized down from an XL to an L based on the reviews, but even the L was too large. May try again with a Medium in the Olive colorway and see what happens.

The Tahari Barn Jacket is very stylish, warm, and fits well. I’m petite so I did cuff my sleeves. I’m 5’ 1” and weigh 140 lbs.

Not worth the price

Thin jacket which is ok but cut is very strange. Very boxy and unflattering. Sleeves are the same. Price is ridiculous
