ABSOLUTE JUNK
I ordered 14 of these frames a year ago. When they arrived, 4 were shattered inside the box with broken glass everywhere. Macy's did credit me for those 4. I used the remaining 10 frames with trepidation as the quality is so low and the hanging hardware snapped several times during install. I used the parts from the broken frames to get 10 useable hanging frames. As I write this today, one year later, I have had a 2nd of those fall off the wall, glass shattering everywhere and my prints damaged. I'm taking down the rest before more damage and injury occurs. MACY'S SHOULD NOT BE SELLING THESE FRAMES. THEY ARE SO INCREDIBLY SUBSTANDARD THAT THEY ARE DANGEROUS. I asked for a credit for the rest of these frames and was told that it's too long past the return policy. IRONIC: these "timeless" frames are not "timeless" in terms of a customer's ability to get credit when the product FAILS. THESE ARE ABSOLUTE JUNK. Would get zero stars if possible.
Arrived broken
Arrived with the glass on the frame shattered. The box looked fine and the 8x10 frame that arrived with it was not damaged.
Wish they were better
This was exactly the style of frame I was looking for and on sale for a good price, but I had 2 of the hanging clips on one frame break just while sitting against my wall waiting to be hung! I bought 4 to match and am a little afraid of hanging the others since the clips are quite thin and will have a lot more weight on them when hung than when sitting on the floor. Also, the frame will bend if hung by the clips that go around the edges so it seems the frame is useless without better hanging clips. Two also arrived with chips on the edges of the glass but I was willing to overlook that.
Good but Problems
I bought several of these frames for a show I was in for my photographs. The frames are not the best quality but they're okay. One of the frames fell off the wall at the gallery because the metal clip for the wire broke and the glass broke into many pieces. Upon picking up the remaining 2 photos another had the clip break. These need a much better hanging system. I would also recommend getting acrylic sheeting for the frames rather than the glass that comes with them.
Great gallery wall frames
These Gold & White matted frames are great for my gallery walls. I have probably 10 of these frames in various sizes throughout my house and really love them. Yes, they are very flimsy and cheap when you touch them but once they go on the wall they look great! Also- be patient. Every time I ordered these (from any retailer) at least 1 has been broken even though the wrapping has been excellent.

Good Looking fames unreliable clips
I've ordered these frames in various sizes and absolutely love the look of them, but we've gone through a few of these frames by now. No matter how we secure them, they end up falling and shattering. The clips for the hanging wires have fractured each time. Instructions tell you to tighten them enough but not too much. I tightened them enough so they wouldn't slide in the channel but apparently that was too much. The window of correct tightness for this clips seems to be quite small. In the end it's a cheap way of securing picture hanging wire. I have replaced them in the past, but we are done with this brand and will stick with frames that have more traditional hanging methods.
