Great bag, but, it is bigger than expected. Had to do some research to make sure airlines will accept it without penalty. Also worried about stowing the bag on cruises. Looks like I’ll be ok on both. To stay within weight limits, I think we’ll focus on bulky lighter items to fill the volume. It’s huge!

Looks attractive, color and material nice high quality . Well make. This is larger than expected, for sure can fit everything for a month trip to Japan in May and find out how much can handle for 3 weeks trip. So can’t said anything now until coming back . Hopefully everything is well

Smart Purchase

We have a couple of big trips lined up this year and I was needing to replace my old luggage. I started researching some and decided on Travelpro. I purchased the Platinum Elite Large Check in Spinner. A great looking suitcase. Love the shadow black color. Large, but lightweight and solid. Zippers, rollers and overall construction are top notch. I should have bought a set, as I’m sure I’m going to want a carryon to match. Looking forward to traveling with this for many years.

Too large for airlines

This luggage is called a Check-in bag, so I assumed it met the airlines check-in specifications. When I opened the box and saw how large it was, I wondered if that was true. The main US airlines have a 62 in maximum (30x20x12). This bag is 64. 75 in (32. 5x21x13. 25). If you have status on an airline, you’re probably okay. However, the last thing I want to do is show up at the airport and be charged for an oversized bag. I am returning it.
