The item didn't match the picture at all

The sandal didn't match the picture at all. It had an ankle strap and different straps across the width of the foot. The UPC on the box matched what I ordered. I'm not sure if the picture was incorrect or if the items were swapped in the box. There was a shipping delay, which I received an email about. I was excited about receiving the order, then opened it to disappointment. I couldn't even do an exchange, because they no longer had my size. The return process was easy. Either they need to make sure the picture matches the item, or they need to make sure the correct item is in the box before shipping it.
