The shoe was uncomfortable. It need a layer of padding.
I ordered this shoe by mistake because I have purchased a previous pair and could not wear them because the straps would not stay in place.

Utterly Disappointed, BUT GREAT SHOE
These are beautiful size 9 wide red shoes. The leather is very soft, the color red is true, and in some areas the red is a deeper color giving it a nice contrast. I thought it would have been a brighter deeper red, but overall the look and feel was surprisingly great. The size was perfect for a 9W, unlike other leather shoes, I’d say this shoe could be worn out of the box as is without needing to break the leather but the sole is different. What I am disappointed about is that I searched for an all leather shoe and the description didn’t specify what type of sole this would have. Like EVERYTHING else out there now a days, it’s a plastic (unknown) hard material which looks like it will last and makes the shoes slightly tough to walk on. I wonder if the leather will stretch as I break in the soles, I’ll have to update that at a later date. I wish the sole of this shoe was actual leather, it would have been worth the full price I paid. Trotters: PLEASE MAKE IN ALL LEATHER. PLEASE!!!

Too wide
I like the shoe but it is too wide for my size 11 narrow feet. Disappointing and frustrating.

Stiff leather
I have an old pair in tan leather. The leather on these navy shoes is not the same. Stiff and plastic feeling. Says that the uppers are leather but does not feel like leather.
