Wrong brand sent and it has an awful odor!

Received a different brand (ABODE instead of VCNY) and the blanket STINKS. It has a very heavy petrol and chemical smell even after 3 washes with three different detergents ( Gain, Zum, and Tide with Oxy clean and Downy Unstoppable) It's a shame because were it not for the odor it's a nice blanket. I've always been happy with purchases from Macy's and have always received the same product I ordered. This is such a disappointment and may have me rethinking ordering from Macy's in the future.

STANK BLANKET

It's a nice color, (bought the gray), tight knit, well made lightweight blanket. But it smells so bad! It has a heavy chemical, oil kind of smell. I've washed it twice: once with Gain and once with Zum detergent. Still stinks just as bad. I'm in the middle of washing it now with Tide, Oxy clean, and Downy essentials. If this doesn't remove the stank it's going in the trunk of the car for emergencies. Such a disappointment! I've never had a problem with any clothing or linens from Macy's before.

I purchased this in the navy color and I absolutely love it. I have it in a basket in my sitting room, in my bedroom. It’s heavy weight and perfect for the winter months. The material is luxurious.
