Cotton/Poly blend under the guise of Sateen

We have to pay attention to the materials. Companies are cutting costs by mixing polyester into their merchandise. This said sateen ( I know it’s the weave, but sateen has almost always been 100% cotton). Disappointed. I would return, but decided to find an alternate use.

scratchy sheets smooth as sandpaper

I love the color and have no doubt these will be very durable. But they are terribly scratchy. Maybe they can be used to exfoliate? Perhaps I could put them in my guest room, to encourage shortened stays for someone I didn't really want to host? I can't believe Vera Wang put her name on these.
