[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The porcelain does not do well with cutlery. It leaves gray lines that only hard scrubbing can get rid of. It leaves a dull film on the plates. I love the design. I regret I bought it.

I got the Chasse and Ferme and love both. Aside from the prints, I really like the shape of the cup. So simple and pretty! Even someone like me who gravitates to contemporary clean lines find the design of the cup pleasing. The little retro adds an extra touch, but that is just me. I decided to write a review because I almost didn't buy the mug due to the low ratings. And I usually find them helpful. As for the size, I find the Villeroy 10 oz mugs to be perfect in size but, sure, they are tiny by US standard where people drink from 16 to 30 oz cup sizes, which by the way is not standard.
