Love the unique shape!

I was looking for new plain white, everyday dishes that were not made in China. I came across this Villeroy & Boch line and I love everything about them. They are made in Germany, and are the perfect weight. I ordered two of the boxed sets of 16 and was delighted that I could add seperate pieces. These bowls are uniquely shaped in an oval, which I absolutely LOVE!!!

Perfect soup bowl

These are exactly what I was looking for. It's perfect for a soup and sandwich combo because it holds a generous cup of soup - really two cups. They wash up nicely as expected with V&B. The quality is more than worth the price.

Villeroy needs to step up the quality of this bowl

Doesn't look like a Villeroy dishware. Quality looks inferior and so light weight
