ColorKick De-Brassing Shampoo uses a blend of violet and lavender botanical extracts to gently neutralize brassiness on all shades of color-treated, highlighted and natural hair, including silver and gray. Humectants hydrate and detangle hair, while Virtue's proprietary Alpha Keratin 60ku protein strengthens and repairs all hair types with each use. The fragrance is a warm blend of bright and calming ingredients including yuzu zest, chamomile and creamy sandalwood.

Hair Life Saver

I received Color Kick De-Brassing Shampoo complimentary from Virtue. I have dark blonde hair that gets dull and muddied . This shampoo helped out my hair color so much, taking away unwanted brass and creating much needed vibrancy. This shampoo is also very hydrating and has helped my fly-aways and frizz issue. A hair life saver and really recommend!

Best Brightening Shampoo

Not for me

This is the first Virtue shampoo that didn't wow me. My hair color looked nice, but it was very drying for my processed hair. I will use with a deep moisturizing mask next time. The scent is amazing, as expected.

not sold on it yet

I have only used this a couple of times, to try to tone down the red-orange that is coming through after a recent color gloss treatment (in a great salon - we were experimenting and I just don't love the color). It is good but not great. I'm planning to go back to blonde-ish / bronde and think this may be better suited for lighter colors. I have used it with the Restorative Treatment Mask and my hair looks and feels GREAT afterward, it's just not a very powerful toner.

Brassy undone

Wow! This shampoo is super helpful for my summer highlights. I have well water and feel this contributes to the brassy tones of my highlights. I want to keep my highlights fresh and pretty. The formula for this shampoo is easy to massage into your hair and rinse out. It does not make your hair feel oily. gifted by virtue labs
