Quiet, but at the same time very powerful

Got my new blender yesterday and already tried a few different recipes with it. I made dough, whipped up an omelet, and even blended some homemade ice cream. It works very quietly, and it’s so strong that I didn’t even need to use full power — level 3 was more than enough. So far, I’m seriously impressed. Perfect for everyday home cooking

Actual piece of crap

I know how to make smoothies. I read the manual inside and out. But this was the biggest waste of money ever. It doesn't even do its one function: blend. I order it in right, I use the tamper, I add a crapload of liquid, I stop and stir, I turn up the speed. I try everything. It just won't blend the fruit! I had the most jankiest and old ninja blender that did 10x better than this. Don't waste your money.

A Happy reunion!

i am thrilled to have finally returned to the Vitamix family. I had one decades ago, and with moving so much, i left it behind. Now after trying so many other brands, I gave up and bought another Vitamix. I am in love again! Thank you for being such a great product!!!!

Should Have Done This Before!

What an amazing appliance! Made Hollandaise for Christmas Eggs Benedict Brunch. Having healthy smoothies every morning. If you are on the fence, just do it.

Container Lifts Off Base

The 48 oz container doesn't fit great on the base. You barely touch it and it lifts off damaging the rotary at the base. After a month of it regularly doing this, I'm returning it for one of the models that has the 64 oz option

Hi. we are sorry to hear of your experience. Vitamix containers are not designed to lock into place. Therefore, it is completely normal for the container shift slightly while on the base. When you turn the unit on, you will notice that the container may shift slightly to the right or the left. This is intended, as the motor base is aligning with the container for optimal performance. If you feel more comfortable, you may place your hand on top of the lid while you blend to better secure the container. However, do not press down on the container in an attempt to “lock” it in place, as doing so could cause damage the motor.
