Change in manufacturing has diminished the appeal

I bought this glass to replace a broken Waterford Lismore double old fashioned glass we purchased 40 years ago. When the new one arrived, I unwrapped the packaging. The glass felt light, without the weighty feel I expect from cut crystal. I searched on why there would be a discrepancy and learned that Waterford removed lead from its glasses for environmental purposes. I understand the rationale, but I don’t care for the end result. The glass doesn’t have the same balance. The service from Macy’s, however, was outstanding.

Beautiful and worth the price

I absolutely love these Waterford glasses! They are beautiful, elegant, and have a wonderful quality and weight to them. They feel substantial without being too heavy, and the crystal really catches the light beautifully. They look even more impressive in person and add a special touch to any table setting. I’m very happy with my purchase and think they are absolutely worth the value!

I placed the glass in the dishwasher and part of the bottom seems to have melted. I have not seen anything to suggest it could not be placed in a dishwasher. I have washed other Waterford in dishweasher - is this a phony??

Poor Quality

I bought this item recently after purchasing the single old fashioned glasses. These were in poor condition compared to those. There were obvious seam lines around an inch below the rim and pockets of air within the crystal. For this price and expected quality, I was disappointed and chose to return them.
