Cuts into the skin around the ankles/top.

Cuts into the skin around the ankles and will scratch it till it bleeds, looks great and has excellent cushioning on the sole! If you are going to wear thick, long socks that go higher than the shaft of the shoes, it could be a great purchase

Larger than size advertised.

The shoes seemed to be sized improperly. This shoe in my correct size was slightly larger than regular, even wearing socks. Since they are pointed toed, the sliding down in the shoe constricted my big toe and it became numb. The numbness continues to be in effect 4 days later. I would love to return them but I threw away the box because I was traveling. Will MACY's take them back without the box?
