Runs large

I ordered size 7 which is my regular size but I was disappointed to find out these are too large and slip off of my feet. I don’t understand why it’s hard to keep shoe sizes standard. It’s also weird because they don’t have half sizes so now I am forced to return them and buy something else. What a shame because the shoes weren’t bad for the price.
