Calf runs true, foot runs very small
The boots finally arrived (they were sold on the Macys website but by some other company?). They were nice enough. The brown was darker than expected but that was ok. The foot portion runs very small. I managed to get my foot in, but honestly would need at least a full size larger than I usually wear. The calf of the boot seems to run true. While the boots themselves were undamaged, the box looked like it went through a shredder when I opened the package. I’m surprised they sent them that way. I’m returning them and since this is the third pair of boots I have tried and returned, (ordered based on sizing recommendations and reviews) I will need to go in and try on or order elsewhere.

Feels cheap.
Feels cheap and leather is too stiff for the laces to be tightened in a way that better hugs the ankles and calf. Returned it to the store, but due to some mix-up they're not reimbursing me for the return because it's a 3rd party vendor. Would not recommend purchasing anything from Vintage Foundry.

Love but stiff
I purchased the size 8 based on reviews but ran narrow and very stiff in the footbed and vamp. I usually wear an 8/1/2, I exchanged for a 9. But the beautiful burgundy was sold out so got the black. That is a classic color though so that's ok. My calves are heftier and these boots totally accommodated them. I would say they are true to size. Order up a 1/2 size for the narrow footbed.

Well made boots
These boots are extremely well made. They’re the kind you need to break in, so throw on some thick socks and go food shopping for your first walk in them. Definitely a well thought out boot, they have thick bottoms, leather, & laces. Very stylish & comfortable once broken in.

4 months agoBeautiful boots, but buy wide
The boots are gorgeous. The material looks and feels that it will last you years. It was well made. However, I will warn to buy wide or a half size larger since it's narrow. I had to buy a boot stretcher. I can tell it's fitting better each time I wear it, but my feet are killing me so I bought the stretcher.

Gorgeous boots with a vintage flare
Absolute vintage look and feel the boots are well constructed even down to the laces. They’re absolutely stunning perfect fit. I wear a 6 1/2 and my foot is pretty narrow. They fit comfortably with thick socks or within socks for the price. I cannot get over the construction. I read some of the reviews, but I did not find that in my case. I’m so happy that I got these boots just beautiful.

Ryka Boots
The Ryka boots fit and were fairly comfortable but materials were very cheap. I took them back.I would never wear them in cold or wet weather.
