Good sharpener

So far, I have used this sharpener once and it seems to do the trick! My last one was another brand that supposedly had diamond grit to sharpen, but after a few years it did not sharpen correctly. It's hard to tell when these things go bad...

Too Much Metal Loss

Honestly, as with any handheld sharpener, this takes far too much metal off of the blade and does not do the job of a proper sharpening stone. You could easily wear your knives down to the nub, eventually, and they will not be nearly as sharp as they would if you learn to use a stone or take advantage of the professional sharpening service. I love Zwilling knives, they are amazing, I am not in love with this sharpener. It's adequate if one does not wish to avail themselves of other options, but it, like any handheld sharpener, will shorten the lifespan of your knives.

Seems to work fine . I only use the rougher side when my knives are really dull

Not the best

I wish I had watched some videos before buying this sharpener. Because it was a Zwilling, I assumed it was the best. But while it is easy to use, it is not terribly effective. It sharpens little and when it does, it wears down the metal.

Zwilling ships with UPS

I couldn’t get the item because Zwilling ships with UPS, and UPS has stopped UPS Sure Post, so customers with PO boxes can’t get packages. UPS’ center at Landover MD changed my address from Washington DC; thus, my package was delivered in Compton CA.
