The Cutting Edge

Bought this set a few months ago and added the Santou knife. I’ve used several of the knives and very impressed how well they cut .. whether it’s vegetables, meat, bread … have worked effortlessly and big change from my other knives. I like that the storage block is not huge and taking up a lot of my limited counter space. This set has everything one would need.

Block is disappointing

The knives are great but the block appears to be for a multitude of knive shapes and sizes. There was one extra slot making me think i was shorted one knife. The slots are cut too big, so the knives don’t sit firm in them. They flop all left to right and look sloppy in the block

Block and knives don't fit

Block doesn't fit knives well, the slots are too wide and the knives move around too much. Also the slots aren't spaced right for this set. Disappointing. The 2 small pairing knives overlap the scissor handles when in their proper slot. The block looks nothing like the photo online. Totally different color.
