Empty slot

It’s good quality, but I’m a little annoyed that the set comes with 14 slots, but there’s an extra slot for another knife in the main knife block that it doesn’t come with like I understand needing to buy the steak knives for the bottom section separately but why is there a missing knife for the top half for the price? I’m paying the entire top half should be filled.

Great Gift, Great Knives

I recieved this knife set as a gift from my husband for my birthday. I’m not exactly a pro chef or anything but I do love to cook and make many unique dishes from all over the world. These knives have sure stood the test and got through all the meats I can throw at them. Worked great for me so far doing things like duck, turkey, cutting up watermelons, slicing eggplant effortlessly, chopping up peppers and onions, you name it. Steak knives are ok would be the only asterisk I would add. If you already have a set, don’t bother and just get the knife set without the steak knives.
