Defective 1 quart sauce pan

Disappointed in the quality of the 1 quart 3D stainless sauce pan. The bottom of the pan was convex, great for spinning on a glass cook top, but not for cooking. Evidently quality control has been eliminated in manufacturing, a simple inspection with a straight edge on the bottom would reveal the defect. Returned the defective pan to AllClad for a refund. Surprised by not getting a full refund on a defective product. So much for standing behind their product. Over the past twenty years I have purchased AllClad pans, each pan had a flat bottom, and performed as advertised.

Excellent pan

Bought this 3 qt sauce pan to replace one from another well-known company, which was far inferior to the All-Clad pan. All-Clad all the way in this house.

Perfect size for cooking grains for 2

I’ve had my open stock All Clad pieces for more than 25 years. They’re perfect! The smallest sauce pan I had was 2 quart, which is terrific, but really too large for making rice, quinoa, couscous, farro, etc., for 1 or 2 people. Here’s where the 1.0 quart is just perfect! I caught a sale (always on the lookout) and found this pan. Just what I needed! It’s also just the right size for heating up a serving or two of soup. I know this pan is going to outlive me.
