Had an earlier generation Nebula

Had an earlier generation Nebula that finally died. I loved it and replaced with the latest generation. I like it overall, but I find it to be. It quite as large and the straps that hold the front pocket in annoy me as they restrict opening the upper compartments. Other than that it’s a great bag for the money.

2nd Nebula purchased in 3 months. Why? Because my wife took over my 1st one because she liked it so much! Like all Ospreys , these are so well made and thought out and the support is and always has been ridiculous, Thanks Osprey Team

I think it's a fine

I think it's a fine replacement for the last Nebula I had before. The look is slightly different and the very front pocket is attached in a very annoying way that it wasn't before ( makes it harder to get into the bag). Overall, I think Osprey makes a good product and has an excellent warranty.

not as specious as my old quasar

This feels less spacious than my old 28L quasar due to the separate laptop pouch. I would prefer if the laptop pouch was integrated into the main compartment so that when the laptop bit is not in use you can get more kit into the bag. But, due to the separate compartment, you lose out on space in the main compartment. Only had a few weeks but time will tell if this proves to be an issue as i have used my old quasar to carry shoes, food, helmet and harness in the past before but i don’t think i’ll be able to get that same kit into this 32l (bigger than old 28l quasar) nebula rucksack
