My father only wore Timex

My father only wore Timex watches so it was just natural that I, too, would follow that path. Over the years I have purchased other brands which were satisfactory. Eventually I stopped seeing the Timex brand in stores. I was pleasantly surprised to see them advertised online. I really liked the style of this particular watch besides knowing it was going to last (“keeps a licking and keeps on ticking”).
