Great, but would be better with a cool air switch!
Definitely an upgrade from my previous cheapy blow dryer, but I didn't realize that it doesn't have an automatic cool air function when I bought it and I probably wouldn't have if I had known. There's a cool air button, but you have to hold it down with your finger to keep it running. With curly hair and a sensitive scalp sometimes I don't want to use heat consistently and would appreciate a way to just flip on the cools. Otherwise, works well and dries quickly.

Good product with below average build quality
The product is good not I am not satisfied with the overall build quality, it’s a too plasticy for a premium product. The plastic body has started to crack with normal use.

It's just not as great as I had hoped
This is my second Dyson hairdryer. I had purchased the original one in 2016, 10 years, almost to the day, later it finally died (RIP, it came with me to my wedding in 2019 and was a member of my family lol). I loved that hair dryer, so I immediately purchased the equivalent option. I'm having a bit of a regret, it's just not as good as the original one. It's slow to start, it gets extra hot when there are attachments on it, the function of cooling down when it gets closer to your head is great in theory, but it just makes it way less powerful. I'm finding that it is taking me an extra 5 minutes to dry my hair because the power just is not the same. I also am finding that this one is damaging my hair more. The airflow seems to be different so maybe it's user error on my part, but this simply is not the hair dryer that they used to make. It's also MUCH louder, and sounds like a jet engine at times compared. The old one had a solid noise to it, but it is nothing like this one. If you never had the OG one, you'll love this.

Absolutely worth it!
I love love love this hair dryer! I am very impressed to say the least. It isn’t too heavy, it comes with a plethora of tools, it isn’t too loud, and it gets the job done! I haven’t used all of the attachments yet, but so far I am loving the diffuser and the straight blower. My hair dries so quickly and I haven’t felt my scalp burning. The cooling scalp protection feature is perfect. Airflow is great and my hair looks healthy, shiny, and well dried. I’m ecstatic about this purchase!

Great features
I am so happy with my purchase. I use it mainly to dry my hair by using the diffuser attachment. I love the features where I can change the temperature setting and the intensity.
