Heavy and awkward to use

This kettle is heavy to hold. Also, there is not enough space between the handle and the lid. Nice to look at, though.

Not a whistler.

I like the design and it heats fast. My only issue is the whistle is almost non-existent. I have to crank up the burner to make sure the whistle is going.

Just what I was looking for!i

I was tired of replacing tea kettles. My last was wonderful, but the bakelite knob that attached the cap to the nozzle cracked so that the kettle no longer whistled. I need that whistle! Finally; a whistling kettle with no plastic parts. The whistle is loud and clear, the water heats fairly rapdly. The only downside is that the water kind of spits out of the spout when pouring from a full kettle (the reason for 4 and not 5 stars). I expect this to be the last tea kettle I need to buy. Ever.
