Poor quality

The stools were very poor quality. The screws that connect the legs were not long enough to prevent the stool from collapsing.

Terrible Quality!

Do NOT buy these stools!! I have assembled numerous pieces of online furniture and have never had a problem like these. I even had an experienced woodworker come to assist, and he could not do it either. Acknowledged that they are poorly made as the screws would not stay in. I finally resorted to wood glue, and it still didn't provide enough stability for me to have enough confidence for people to sit in them. Macy's does not accept instore returns (unlike all the other places I bought online furniture from) so I am stuck with them. I don't even feel good about giving them away. Shame on Macy's for carrying such an inferior product. I have bought several pieces of furniture from Macy's Home Store before and found it to be quality. I no longer have that same trust in the products they are choosing to sell.
